Hi Colin, welcome from another visitor here. Don't forget to keep up the required average of at least one post per month to make sure your account is still here when the exams start next May.

Best wishes,
Geoff

Thanks Geoff
Reminder on posting is useful as I didn't realise posting count is not carried over from the main English forum

That's right. Unfortunately they're on two entirely separate databases, so there is no way of carrying the information across automatically from one forum to the other. And I should know, as someone who recently lost his account here despite having over 26000 posts on the English forum!

Yes Geoff, you have experienced not being able to join the spanish forum and having to start from scracht...

Hi Colin, and welcome to the Spanish language forum!

Sorry, I didn't notice your request to join the Student Group until now. I see that you are in the Group on the English language forum, so I've added you here as well.

Enjoy the lessons!

Thanks, I'm starting to get used to the rather odd way these forums interact. I assume I don't post a request to join the exam until I have completed 7 lesson postings

Hi Colin,

You shouldn't need to do anything else here until the exam details are announced, except to make sure you've posted at least one message per month to keep your membership of the Spanish forum open, and to join the 002 group here so that you can post an attachment if necessary when the time comes. You join the 002 group via your user control panel in the same way as on the English forum (except that the group is called "002 mensajes colocados" here).

You'll find more guidance on the exam procedure in the Lesson FAQs on the English forum, under the heading How do I join the Spanish forum in order to sit the end of year exam? You've already completed the steps of joining this forum and joining the students group here, so you can scroll down a bit further to the paragraph beginning "Carefully note the exam dates" and read on from there.
